The IJLS Web portal and Mobile App enables registered users to enrol in CPD course, Induction for Prospective Barristers Course, Dîmplo Universitaire (DU) de Droit Civil Mauricien, workshops and short courses. Users can also view details of courses, monitor their attendance and CPD hours earned.
The Mobile App (“IJLS”) can be downloaded from Play Store, App Store and Huawei Store.
Users must register on the website/mobile app using their Maupass account to access the facilities offered by IJLS. The MauPass account can be created on the website https://maupass.govmu.org
Users can enrol in CPD courses after logging in through MauPass on the IJLS web portal or mobile app, as long as the maximum seat capacity has not been reached.
If the seat capacity has already reached the limit, the text “fully booked” will be displayed in the course card. However, users can still add themselves to the waiting list. The system will automatically allocate a seat on a first-come, first-served basis once a seat becomes vacant. A notification will be sent to the user at least 2 hours before the start of the course.
Users will have the option to cancel a course prior to the start of the said course. The seat will then be reallocated to a person on the waiting list if the cancellation is made at least 2 hours before the start of the course.
The users can clock in and clock out by using their Mobile App to scan the QR Code from the attendance recording machine located at the IJLS. A QR code will also be displayed during the online sessions.
Users must clock in and clock out for the CPD hours to be calculated. In case a user forgets to record his/her time in or time out, the CPD hours will not be allocated.
Law practitioners will be able to see the following status for a particular CPD Course:
• Scheduled – user has enrolled in a course which has not yet started
• Course started – displayed when the course has started, but the learner has not yet joined
• In attendance – Course started, and user clocked in
• Course ended – Course has been completed and the learner has clocked out
• Not attended – User enrolled to the course but did not clock in
• Cancelled by me – user cancelled course
• Cancelled – cancelled by IJLS
• Postponed – Postponed by IJLS
The clock in and clock out time will be used to automatically compute the CPD hours earned by each user. It is imperative to complete the 12 mandatory CPD hours including Ethics for the certificate to be awarded. Each user will need to take responsibility for clocking in and clocking out. The users can view their current CPD from the workspace in the web portal or under CPD tab in the Mobile App.
User can view their attendance details for courses attended in both the web portal and Mobile App.
At the end of the CPD year, IJLS will generate the CPD certificates. Users who have completed 12 CPD hours inclusive 2 hours of ethics course and cleared their payment, will be able to view and download their certificates from the IJLS Portal or the Mobile App.
Any user who has completed the 12 CPD hours before the end of the CPD year may request a certificate from IJLS on an ad hoc basis.
The IJLS has ensured that certificates are tamper proof. All documents are signed with a digital signature and include an embedded QR Code. You can verify the authenticity of the certificate by scanning the QR Code or opening the PDF document using an Adobe Reader and verifying the signature.
You can avail yourself of the following facilities to make payments:
• CPD/Induction Courses/Workshop/Short Courses
• On Desktop, Notebook/Ipad/Tablets – Access the IJLS Website and scan QR Codes using any payment App
• Mobile phones – Payment using My.T Money App

• CPD Course Ended & Credit Allocation: When IJLS marks a CPD course as Ended, the system automatically calculates CPD credits for all attended users, allocates the credits to their profiles, and sends a push notification to each user once computation and allocation are complete.
Email notifications will be sent to all users using the email provided at the time of registration. You must verify your inbox to receive all communication from IJLS.
